On the horrifying news today,
I have no meaningful words today.
Nothing can be said, its just too early.
My heart just aches.
Just a simple prayer to our Goddess, that She might find a way to console the inconsolable.
Goddess of Solace,
For the children,
For their parents and families,
For the teachers,
For their friends,
And for this country;
Be with them, and all of us;
The stunned, hurt and afraid,
The angry and horrified.
The inconsolable.
Wrap yourself around them,
As only you can;
Lift them up.
Give them back the hope that was taken from them.
Work to heal, yet again,
As they mourn.
Blessed be to all today,
For we all need it.

Good morning, Goddess
Good morning, Goddess,
As I wake to a new day -
I give my offering and
Spend a quiet moment with you.
I sit in peace before the day's gathering storms
Inevitably come down.
That's ok.
For now, I let the time slip in silence.
Just breathing and being still with you.
As you walk with me today -
May I remember you are with me,
Putting the ground beneath my feet
And the sunlight on my face.
Thank you for today.

Prayer to the Goddess of my Community
Goddess,
I'm
close to the end of what I can learn by myself.
You
know this about me.
So,
You've
put me on the path to meet other people.
Others
that know you like I know you,
Others
that can share with me,
Others
that can teach me,
Others
that understand me.
As
I grow in this faith, in this community,
Open
my mind and my heart
So
that I might learn more about you
And
help this community grow.
I
don't share my faith very often,
But
faith can be stronger when shared with others.
Guide me as I open up and meet new people
And build new friendships.

Goddess of the New Year
Goddess of the New Year,
As the new year begins,
Bless the hope we have for the new year;
Bless those looking for a new start.
May we leave behind those things that bind us.
May we embrace those things that free us.
Thank you, Goddess,
For the gifts of the past year
And the hope of the next.
Blessed Samhain and Happy Halloween!

Goddess of the Fall
Goddess of the Fall,
The weather has started to change
Fall is here again!
Oh Goddess,
Help me learn the lessons from Mabon.
Help me find balance,
May it give my life your peace.
The wheel, always turning;
A new cycle will soon begin.
As Samhain approaches,
Prepare me for the coming new year.

Prayer to the Goddess of the Light
Goddess of the Light,
Change still rolls through my life.
Before, I was apprehensive about some of the changes,
Apprehensive about the number of changes;
Now, I think I understand more of the why:
I needed the changes.
It may seem obvious,
That changes are necessary;
But it isn't always clear what the changes represent,
What the changes mean for us.
At a recent reading I learned what I already knew but hadn't formulated into thought yet.
I learned I'm stuck at a crossroads.
I learned I'll be stuck here until I resolve some major things in my life that keep me from moving on.
I'm stuck where so many are stuck.
The changes happening in my life are forcing some of the road blocks to loosen, to shift;
I can see what I need to do to move them more clearly now.
Again, you are helping me,
Providing light, providing direction;
Guiding me to where I need to be.
I guess I've always known what I needed to do.
I'm just a bit anxious about it,
I'm not entirely sure how to start.
But, I'm closer now.
It isn't always easy.
It isn't always simple.
It usually isn't free.
But it is usually worth it.
Here I go....

Walking through Changes
Oh Goddess,
So much is changing in my life right now;
It's hard to keep up.
Some changes I've initiated,
Other changes have just happened.
Lately, though, the changes have all been at the same time.
Change isn't always bad, but it can be stressful.
I know these changes are part of where I am in my life right now,
And I know many of them are necessary; for me, and for my family.
Goddess, walk with me as I go through these changes,
As my life adapts and evolves.
Smile at me when I'm down,
Lift me up when I'm tired.
May I find strength from my faith,
From the Divine within.

Back in the Practice of my Faith
Hello Goddess,
I'm back in my practice.
I didn't realize I had been away;
I didn't realize how long it had been.
I inadvertently paused the active part,
The practice of my faith.
My meditations with you,
My devotions for you,
My offerings to you.
It is in this practice of faith
I become closer to you,
Where I find my peace in you
And feel you in me.
I'm glad to be back.

Goddess of the Crossroads
Goddess,
There are those at a crossroads.
They are choosing between staying on your path
Or choosing a different one.
Like all paths, this one has challenges.
It isn't for everyone.
We all make a choice.
Goddess of the Crossroads,
Be with those making such a difficult choice;
Choosing a new path isn't easy,
Even if it seems to fit and feels right.
Be with not only those who choose your path,
But also with those that choose a different one;
One they feel will bring them peace.
You are above all things
And are present on all paths,
Even if we are not able to see.
I am at my own crossroads
And I know I must make a choice,
And I know how difficult it will be.
But you are with me
And will walk me through it.
That is my faith.
Talk to you soon,
And Blessed Be all.

Prayer to The Goddess, My Teacher
Goddess of Wisdom,
The One that teaches me,
The One that lights my path;
There are times I cannot hear you,
When there are too many distractions.
Then you tell me:
"Be Quiet, so you may Hear Me"
I still my mind,
And I hear you.
There are times I cannot see you,
Even though I know I'm filled and surrounded by you.
Then you tell me:
"Open your Eyes, so you may See Me"
I slow down and open my eyes,
And I see you, all around me.
There are times I cannot feel you with me,
When I am looking for you.
Then you tell me:
"I'm Here, I'm with you;
As I have Always been;
As I Always will be."
I pause to look inside,
And you are there.
You teach me;
How to hear you,
How to see you,
How to feel you,
And remind me you are with me.
I follow You always,

Prayer to the Goddess of Courage
Hello Goddess,
On this Pagan Coming Out Day,
Watch over those courageous enough to come out,
To be a beacon for our community,
To lay more groundwork for acceptance.
May they be blessed, knowing we are behind them,
And are proud of their courage.
May they be accepted,
May hard hearts soften to embrace them.
May we walk in their footsteps,
Today, tomorrow, or next year.
May I have the courage to take more steps into the light.
Blessed be,

Prayer to the Goddess of Life
Goddess of Life,
Spring has returned;
Waking color and vitality all around us.
Its easy to overlook sometimes -
This is always a busy time of the year.
But,
Scenes like these catch my eye,
And give me a chance to catch my breath;
To remember I'm part of this, part of your creation -
And to spend perhaps just a few quiet moments with you.
Creator of all things,
Giver of all life,
Thank you for the hope that comes from Spring.

A Prayer to the Goddess of Healing
Oh Goddess of Healing,
Someone is in pain.
Someone is missing a loved one.
Someone is having to learn to live without,
And is adjusting to a new way of life.
We can feel the pain of those we know
As they suffer through it.
We hope to offer them peace:
A hug, a shoulder, an ear.
Oh Goddess of Healing,
Bless those that hurt,
That are mourning a lost one;
Give them that hope, that hug,
That shoulder, that ear.
Let them look around and in themselves
And find you, your hope, your strength.
Let them find you in their friends and family,
And in us, their community.

Prayer for Unity and Peace
In times of intolerance and divisiveness,
May She bring us together.
The Middle Way teaches us that all boundaries are illusory,
That we create the divisions that appear between us.
May we rise above the boundaries that isolate us,
May we see them for what they are,
May we cease to give them form,
May we respect each other fully.
The Middle Way teaches us that for us to find peace,
We must learn to give peace, unconditionally, with loving compassion.
This is difficult for me.
Help me see fear and anger
For what they are;
And to see others for who they are -
My brothers and my sisters.
Help me to give my peace
Even when it is not given to me.
Let me be your beacon, oh Goddess;
Let them know you by knowing me.
May we hear Her and follow Her,
However She calls us,
However we call Her,
And live in Her peace.

Prayer to the Goddess of Patience
Goddess of Patience,
At times I struggle to feel you with me.
At times I am guilty of simply looking through you while looking for you,
Missing the simple things, making things complicated,
And I eventually find you.
But,
Sometimes I feel my patience get weak, and I get anxious.
I start to wait for you, hoping you'll fill me with your presence,
As you usually do.
Then,
While I wait for you, I realize something;
I'm not waiting for you, you're waiting for me.
You are the patient one, the understanding one.
You are the one that knows me, calls to me,
And smiles as I sometimes struggle towards you.
So,
I turn my focus from myself, waiting for you,
To you, waiting for me.
I'm starting to get it; after all this time.
Thank you for waiting for me.
Thank you for showing me loving patience.
